After speaking with Investor and Media Relations Manager Kayleigh Painter of the Dollar Tree Corporation, it has been confirmed that the new Dollar Tree, to be located at 213 W Rutherford St. in Landrum, will have its grand opening on November 14. This fortune 200 company has 15,115 stores across America and Canada and is bringing “the thrill of the hunt” to the Landrum area.

 

The 10,000 square foot franchise store will have almost anything and everything you can think of with nothing priced over one dollar. Shoppers will be able to pick up their daily necessities and anything extra Dollar Tree may have to offer.

 

Painter shared that the new store will bring somewhere between 12-20 associate jobs to the area. If you or someone you know may be interested in a position in the newly built store, applications can be filled out on-line at dollartree.com/careers. Also, those interested can apply for jobs in person at the store location. 

 

Painter went on to say, “Dollar Tree continues to grow, and we are so excited to be a part of the Landrum community.” Dollar Tree has been providing a fun shopping experience for all ages for many years. 

 

The new Dollar Tree in Landrum will be located on W. Rutherford Street, in the former Burke’s Outlet building.
