MILL SPRING – Andrew Perewiznyk, 93, of Mill Spring passed away Friday evening, November 1, 2019.


He was born in Passaic, NJ and lived in Clifton, NJ for more than 30 years, where he was a member of the Holy Ascension Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Andrew served in the U.S. Army in Alaska during WWII. He owned an auto body repair shop in New Jersey.

He retired to Punta Gorda, FL with his wife, where they lived for 25 years and enjoyed sailing, SCUBA diving, traveling and entertaining. Andrew was a member of the Punta Gorda Boat Club and the Isles Yacht Club. He sang with the Good Time Singers Chorus and the Saltwater Swells Octet.


He moved with his family to Mill Spring 9 years ago.


He was preceded in death by his wife, Anne, his daughter, Alice, his parents, Michael and Magdalena Fedoriw Perewiznyk, a brother and a sister.


He is survived by his daughter, Andrea and two nieces. 


At Andrews request, there will be no viewing. Services and disposition of his cremains will be determined at a later date.
