Plans are taking shape for TASTE of Landrum, a new type of Food & Wine event being held throughout the City of Landrum on Thursday, November 14th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. A reception will follow at 7:00 p.m. at Mocha’s Mug.

 

Our Carolina Foothills (OCF) and Landrum Area Business Association (LABA) have teamed up to create this new event that is local food and beverage centric that promotes moving people into the small, independent businesses that make Landrum so unique. 

 

Ten separate host locations have been selected for this inaugural event. Each of these retail hosts are being partnered with an area chef or food & beverage provider who will offer a wide array of “tastes” of Landrum. Local food favorites from the Hare & Hound, Stone Soup Market & Cafe, Southern Delights & More, Harvest House, Buck & Brew and lots more are all part of this event. 

Many of the TASTE of Landrum host locations are in the walkable, downtown area but a large focus of the Business Association was selecting businesses in the outer-lying areas of Landrum. Areas that are perhaps less familiar to the business community. Three of those locations are Landrum Hardware’s, Whimsical World Gallery and The Farm House.
