Special Edition will perform at the 100% Local Concert on Thursday, October 17 in the Peterson Amphitheater at Tryon Fine Arts Center.

Special Edition features Woody Cowan on bass and vocals, Jeff Walker on vocals, Carey Upton on keyboards and vocals, Calem Upton on drums, Gary Collins on lead guitar and Mickey Smith on rhythm guitar. The band has performed around the Foothills together for many years.

 

“Special Edition brings a variety of genres together,” said Cowan. “Put on your dancing shoes!”

 

The 100% Local concert also includes music from F.L.O.W. and a troupe of young, local dancers. The music starts at 6:00 p.m.

 

The performers hail from Tryon, Saluda, Landrum, Green Creek or Columbus, and have a special connection to the region.

 

The 2019-2020 Peterson Amphitheater Series is sponsored by the Plume Family Foundation.
