“LIFE•LOVE•DOGS” is one of the more than 60 film screening during the Festival. It explores the intense emotional bonds people share with their dogs and how these bonds inspire people and their dogs to mutually rescue each other. It contains three heart-warming stories about why people will go to the ends of the earth for the love of a dog. Released this year, it has so far been included in the Vero Beach Wine + Film Festival and the Accolade Global Film Competition, and it was a winner at the Festigious International Film Festival in Los Angeles.

“Oh, there will be many tears shed during this movie,” Festival Co-Founder Beau Menetre said. “Some will be sad tears, but most will be happy tears. Tryon is such a big dog-friendly community. Bring your dog for an evening with a great movie, presented in our wonderful Rogers Park. It just doesn’t get any better.”

This is the Tryon International Film Festival’s fifth year of presenting world-class films in the Carolina Foothills. The Festival starts Friday, October 11, with an evening gala. All day Saturday and most of Sunday, the films will be screened in various locations in Tryon.
