Letter to the Editor
Tryon Daily Bulletin Reporter Leah Justice is to be commended for her informative coverage on the stories “Work begins on Columbus Comprehensive Plan” and “Low uninsured rate” articles which appeared in the Friday, October 4, 2019 edition of the Bulletin.
It is welcome news that Columbus will have a Comprehensive Plan going forward and with citizen participation. I am also grateful to learn that Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission is interested in preserving Chocolate Drop and Little White Oak Mountains.
In the same edition of the paper, Leslie M. Rhinehart’s Letter to the Editor “Why Did Teachers Walk in May?” articulates well why “as voters, we need to take our schools back.”
As a matter of fact, the entire Friday, October 4, 2019 issue was an engrossing read. Thanks to all contributors!
