A great man went home to be with the lord today.

James Carol (JC) Blackwell passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at White Oak Manor Nursing Facility.

JC served 3 years with distinction in the United States Army from 1956 to 1959. The honor and patriotism he learned in the army never left him as family and friends will attest. He worked hard to support his family and his work ethic could never be questioned. He took pride in all the work he did whether on the job or around the house.
