Victim’s name has not yet been released

LANDRUM—The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a body found in a wooded area off Oak Grove Road near Landrum. 

A person scouting for deer on Saturday morning found the body. 

The body is said to be decomposed and was found about a mile off Oak Grove Road. 

A cause of death or the victim’s name has not yet been released.
