Tola Mueller receives municipal clerk designation

SALUDA—The City of Saluda recognized and congratulated its clerk to the board Tola Mueller this week for achieving her North Carolina Certified Municipal Clerk designation. 

Saluda Mayor Fred Baisden congratulated Mueller and said she recently attended the North Carolina Association of Municipal Clerks Summer Academy in Wilkesboro. 

Mueller was also recognized as a program and education committee member and a publicity committee member for the NCAMC. 

Mueller’s two designations and involvement in the committee will expedite her goal of receiving her Master Municipal Clerk certification in the next 2-3 years, Baisden said.
