At the September 5th meeting of the Rotary Club of Tryon, representatives from Unity in the Community presented a program on the recent tour for area high school students to Winston Salem State University and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. The tour provided the students an opportunity to gain an understanding of college life. They toured the facilities of each of the universities with guides who answered their many questions.

 

The Rotary Club of Tryon paid for the student’s meals and several of the Rotarians accompanied the students on the day long trip.
