Breakfast on Sept. 11 at Polk Veteran Service Office

COLUMBUS—Polk County veterans and first responders are invited to attend an appreciation breakfast on Wednesday, Sept. 11. 

The Polk County Veterans Office is sponsoring the event in connection with 9/11. 

This year will be the 18th anniversary of Sept. 11, 2001. 

Polk County Veteran Service Officer Gina Cashion said this is Polk County’s first veteran and first responder breakfast. 

The breakfast will be at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 11 at the Polk County Veteran Services Office, located at 75 Carmel Lane, Columbus.
