Timothy Wayne Wilson age 59 went home to be with his Lord and Saviour on August 10, 2019 after a 2 year battle with cancer.

Timothy was the son of the late Wayne Wilson and Rachel Wilson of Tryon, NC. The first grandson of Hicks and Alcie McAbee of Mill Spring, NC.

A life long Polk County citizen, an animal lover, a huge family man excellent care giver to his father Wayne in his last days. Tim cared for others and always tried to be a good neighbor.

Tim, lovingly called Pa Tim was the most kind hearted and loving person and a true gentleman and he displayed this thru out this long hard battle.

Tim leaves behind his pride and joy, his son, Eric (Jackie) Wilson of Rutherfordton, NC;  loving mother, Rachel of the home; brothers, Jeffrey (Angelyn) Wilson and Jason (Heather) Wilson both of Tryon, NC ; sisters, Mary (Chris) Teague of Statesville, NC and Alicia (Tony) Kemmerlin of Landrum, SC; grandchildren, Hadden, Chase, and Olivia Wilson; nephews, Nicholas, Peyton, Kyler; and nieces, Sydnee, Kayleigh, and Kinsley; aunts, uncles, and cousins that he had touched and will forever be in their hearts.

A Celebration of Life will be 6 PM. Friday August 16, 2019 at Beaulah Baptist Church with Rev. Todd Fletcher officiating.

Visitation will follow the service.
