TRYON, NC- Nancy Sue Craven Leister, 78, of Tryon, NC passed away Wednesday August 8, 2019 at Laurelwood Memory care in Columbus, NC.

Nancy was born on October 3, 1940 in Beaver Falls, PA.  She will be remembered for her love of dogs, Christmas and Teddy Bears.  She was magical in everything she did. Her nature was one of curiosity, creativity and generosity.  She had a beautiful smile. She loved to read historical literature. She was a very talented cook and she had a special talent for home decorating.

Born an only child, she wed Vernon R. Leister on October 24, 1959 when she became a dedicated wife and went on to have three children.

Besides her husband she is survived by daughters Jennifer of Sherburne, NY, Connie of Brevard, NC and a son Charles of Taylors. SC

The family would like to Thank Laurelwood Memory Care and Hospice of the Carolina Foothills for their love during this difficult time.

There will be a Celebration of Life in her honor on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at 11:00 am at Holy Cross Episcopal Church in Tryon, NC
