There are six teams that will participate in the Cardinal Classic; Landrum, Blacksburg, Broome, Byrnes, Chapman, and Liberty. The games begin at 6 p.m. with the following match ups: Broome vs. Blacksburg, Chapman vs. Byrnes, and Landrum vs. Liberty.

This is the first chance fans will have to catch the Cardinals in action this season, and will be the only opportunity to see the Cardinals play at home until August 30, in the second game of the season against Dixie High School.

The Cardinals will be lead by head Coach Jason Farmer for the upcoming season; Farmer is also working on a fundraising campaign to benefit the Landrum Football team. To find more information on the event and the fundraiser, visit the Landrum Cardinals Football page on Facebook.
