COLUMBUS, NC, July 20, 2019 – Music and an Author at the Columbus Farmers’ Market this week! Come join us for a heartwarming and humorous conversation about farm life in Polk County.

Fat Dog Farm: Tails of Farm Failures illustrates the many mishaps as Aleah and Andrew navigate city life to farm life. The book showcases the multi-species family and subsequent farm calamities. We all love a good failure, don’t we? This is a humorous, inspirational tale of back-to-the-land dreams that encounter some challenging, but ultimately surmountable rough patches of reality. 

Aleah can be found with her memoirs under the market tent from 9 am-11 am this Saturday. 

ALSO- Enjoy Our local duo is “Blue Wall.” from 9 am-11 am. They offer a variety of tunes, from folk to 70s to bluegrass, playing banjo and guitar. 

The Columbus Farmers’ Market is located at 40 Courthouse Street in Columbus, NC from 8 am-12 noon on Saturdays April- November 2nd.
