“Chef at the Market” this week at the Columbus Farmers Market

The Columbus Farmers’ Market will host “Chef at the Market” this Saturday, July 13th. Chef John Wilson from The Rural Seed Restaurant will shop around the market, supporting different vendors, buying locally grown, fresh produce beginning at 8:30 a.m. for a cooking demo and tasting starting at 9:30 a.m. Market shoppers can follow Chef John around the market to learn about sourcing locally grown products, what questions to ask, and how to pick the perfect fruit or vegetable to make the most vibrant summer dish.  


The Columbus Farmers’ Market is located at 322 E. Mills Street, Columbus, NC 28722. The market hours are 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
