The Tryon Downtown Development Association is proud to present the Green Blades Garden Club the 2019 Excellence Award in Design and Beautification. 

This award was for an outstanding community initiative and excellence in the refurbishment of the Park on Trade the Garden Club under took in 2019. 

This could not have accomplished without grants received from Rotary Club of Tryon, Town of Tryon, Polk County Appearance Commission and mulch donated from Hensons’ Inc. 

The Park on Trade was originally designed and built in 2003 by the Green Blades. It had become overrun and was in need of repairs. Many thanks go to each Green Blades member who have contributed their time, talent, support and encouragement.
