Join us for our June 28 – 4th Friday as we celebrate school being out for summer!
Stores and galleries in Downtown Tryon stay open late every 4th Friday with special events and activities including a monthly gallery show at Carri Bass Photography and Art Studio and the Tryon Depot and wine tasting at The Tryon Bottle. Restaurants are open with great food and entertainment including karaoke at McGourty’s Pub and live music at Harper Eatery & Pub.
Stop at different retail spots in downtown Tryon to play a mini-game. Youngsters who complete all of the games get a free child scoop at The Tryon Creamery and adults get bragging rights.
Stack it up at The Book Shelf, Independent bookstore in Tryon NC Players must stack 25 pennies in under a minute using only one hand.
Suck it up at A Taste of Olives & Grapes: Players place a straw in their mouth and use suction to transfer a pile of 25 M&M’s from one plate to another in under one minute. Only one hand may be used to hold the straw. Everyone gets to eat their candy when the round is finished!
Stack Attack at The Nest Artisan Market: Players have to stack up a pile of cups and then place them back into a single stack in under a minute.
Movin‘ on up at The Carriage Stop: Each player starts with a stack of 25 red cups with one blue cup at the top of the stack. Start by moving the top blue cup to the bottom of the stack, and continue moving cups from the top to the bottom until the blue cup is back at the bottom of the stack again.
Defying gravity at Vines of Tryon: Using only one hand, players must keep two balloons from touching the ground for one minute. No holding the balloons!
Spelling Bee at Carolina Confections/Tryon Toymakers: Whoever gets the most words right WINS!
Giant Connect 4 at The Tryon Creamery: The classic game– oversized!

Echoes of Tryon Ghost Walks Ghost Hunt provided by Echoes of Tryon Ghost Walks. Check-in is at 8 pm at St. Luke’s Plaza and the tour will roughly begin at 8:30 pm.
Tryon Country Club is back this Friday with their putting station and also joining us you can meet some adoptable dogs from Foothills Humane Society.
