Come celebrate another successful year with the Community Chorus at its first-ever potluck “Picnic in the Park” on Tuesday, June 25, from 6:00 P.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Harmon Field screened shelter. Chorus singers, supporters, concert-goers and friends are asked to bring a picnic dish to share. Tea and water will be provided. In addition to the picnic, there’ll be special musical entertainment. The picnic will also serve as the Community Chorus’ Annual Meeting.

The Community Chorus, founded in 1973, has been going strong for 46 years, supporting the Rotary Club of Tryon Scholarship Fund. Annual ticket sales to the concert contribute close to $15,000 a year to the scholarship fund. The concerts have raised more than $300,000 for the scholarships over the years.
