Eleven seniors receive diplomas at 2019 PCEC graduation
Polk County Early College celebrated its 2019 senior class on May 18 during commencement exercises at Tryon Fine Arts Center.
Eleven seniors received their diplomas, the second graduation ceremony of the week for most as nine of the eleven also graduated May 13 from Isothermal Community College with their associate degree.
Matt Roberts delivered the faculty address, during which he cited “special” examples of each student’s personality.
The 2019 graduating class included: Brittany Bradley, Stephanie Serrano, Abigail Orlando, Georgia McCullough, Jillian Snyder, Leon LaFay, Zachary Lambert, Makayla Lail, Grant Finch, Antonio Garcia and Cooper Massengill.
