Schools receive points in each sport based on conference finish on a 6-5-4-3-2-1 scale. Schools also get five participation points for fielding a team in a sport, meaning each sport and each athlete contributes to the total.

Polk County won conference championships this school year in six sports – volleyball, girls tennis, boys tennis, baseball, boys track and field and girls track and field. The school had runner-up finishes in boys soccer, girls cross country and girls soccer. The Wolverines fielded a team in every sport offered.
