Columbus - Margaret E. Slavin, 92, of Columbus NC passed away on May 12, 2019. 

  

The daughter of the late Victor and Margaret Belfi Carnevale, she was predeceased by her first husband Frederick K. Maerz, Jr. and her second husband, James S. Slavin, Jr. 

  

She is survived by three children: Peg DeBruhl (Mike DeBruhl), Bud Slavin, and Amy Slavin (John Inge), two grand-daughters Kristina D. Parks and Nichole D. Mullikin, and four great-grandchildren Karson and Haiden Parks, and Liam and Maggie Mullikin. 

  

Private family services will be held at a later date.
