Acts Community has only usable Bocce court in the area
COLUMBUS—On Thursday May 9, Tryon Estates will be hosting the Senior Games Bocce event for Henderson and Polk Counties. Tryon Estates has the only usable Bocce court in Henderson and Polk Counties.
The Senior Games is an international program that allows senior citizens to compete in a variety of different sporting events, first regionally, then at the state level before ultimately competing at the national senior games. In 2017 there were 10,000 competitors at the National Senior games in Birmingham, Alabama.
The National Senior Games Association exists today as a non-profit organization that is dedicated to motivating active adults to lead a healthy lifestyle. The Senior Games is a 20-sport event for men and women over the age of 50. The Senior Games is the largest multi-sport event in the world for seniors.
