Paul E. Mullet

Columbus, NC—Paul E. Mullet, 68, of Columbus, NC passed away at his home on Saturday, April 27, 2019, after a three year battle with cancer.

Paul was born in Millersburg, Ohio to the late Ervin and Ella Mullet on September 26, 1950. He is survived by his wife Marge Mullet; his three children, Valerie (Pat) Overholt of Tryon, Carmen (Andrew) Beiler of Columbus and Matt (Ony) Mullet of Columbus and his thirteen grandchildren, Dillon, Mariah, Olivia, Sophia and Grayson Overholt, Casey, Lexi, Dakota and Chase Beiler, Asher, Hayden, Braylee and Remi Mullet. Also surviving are two brothers, Willie (Jossie) Mullet of Goshen, IN, Myron (Angie) Mullet of Greenwood, SC; three sisters, Elsie (Delbert) Schrock of LaGrange, IN, Esther (Harold) Headings of Hamboldt, IL and Martha (Ray) Stutzman of Lakeville, IN.

He was a founding member of Foothills Community Chapel in Columbus, NC where he served as an elder and trustee. He owned and operated Mullet Builders since 1983 with his son Matt Mullet. His great joys in life were his church, watching his children and grandchildren play sports, playing golf and watching his beloved Braves.

Calling hours will be on Monday, April 29, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Foothills Community Chapel, 2720 Landrum Road, Columbus, NC.

A burial service for the family will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at 9:30 a.m.

A Memorial Celebration for all will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Foothills Community Chapel, 2720 Landrum Road, Columbus, NC.
