On Friday April 19, Students of O.P. Earle Elementary School enjoyed the time away from class and had a cookout with family and friends during the Family Picnic event. The school provided hamburgers and hotdogs cooked on the grill, while many parents opted to bring food in from restaurants around town. The event was scheduled to be outside but was forced indoors due to the heavy rain and thunderstorm warning in the area.
