Spring Tree ID Hike at FENCE

Published 10:44 pm Thursday, April 11, 2019

Join Naturalist, Carlton Burke, for a Spring tree identification hike around the FENCE property on Thursday, April 18th at 9am. Spring is a wonderful time to take a stroll through the woods and brush up on your tree ID skills. As Spring weather begins to warm us, our trees begin to bud and grow leaves making identification easier than in the winter months. Come prepared for the weather, wear comfortable shoes, and bring a water bottle for this hike. This event is free and open to the public.

This event is made possible by the Kirby Endowment at the Polk County Community Foundation. FENCE is located at 3381 Hunting Country Road in Tryon, North Carolina.
