Greer-based CBL State Savings Bank has opened a banking office in Landrum, according to President and CEO Jennifer T. Jones.
The office is located at 920 East Rutherford Street and offers a full range of services, including savings deposits, first and second residential mortgages, equity lines of credit, land loans, construction/permanent loans, commercial real estate loans and more.
Employees staffing the office include Senior Vice President Dennis Trout, Senior Loan Specialist Angel Forrester, Administrative Assistant Tammy Thompson and Customer Service Specialist Karlie Miller.
CBL first opened in Greer 1907 to serve borrowers and savers in and around the area. According to Jones, Landrum was a natural choice for the bank’s first location outside its hometown.
“We have a couple of employees and directors who live in or near Landrum, so we have close local ties to the community,” said Jones. “Landrum is a lot like Greer in many ways. We love its small-town environment and its abundance of positive energy, and we look forward to building both financial and personal relationships with its citizens. Moreover, we look forward to becoming an integral part of the community by supporting its schools, businesses and nonprofits.”
