Published 12:14 pm Wednesday, March 20, 2019

Bernard Eiserloh and Fred Herres are the local craftsmen working on a 6 foot tall “Parade” Morris, the Tryon Horse. This Morris, paid for by the Tryon Riding & Hunt Club (TR&HC) and materials donated from Henson Building Materials will debut at the Tryon Horse Heritage Parade on Thursday, April 18 at 5:00 p.m. The parade rides through Downtown Tryon and Morris will continue to Harmon Field for the Carter Brown BBQ following. Both the parade and BBQ are free for the entire community.

Tryon Downtown Development Association and TR&HC are partnering together for an entire week of events, starting with the Downtown Block Party on April 13 in place of the Blockhouse Steeplechase. Come to Downtown Tryon all week for great fun and community. Details at www.downtowntryon.org/thhw.
