Polk County District Court results

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, March 6, 2019, with Judge T. Mack Brittain presiding, 96 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court. 

The following persons were convicted of a crime: 

Tina Franklin Belue was convicted of felony probation violation. Belue was sentenced to 90 days in jail.

Colin Raymond Bero was convicted of misdemeanor probation violation. Bero was sentenced to 60 days in jail with 39 days credit.  

Thomas Kyle Henderson was convicted of attempted possession of counterfeit instrument. Henderson was sentenced to 10 days in jail with credit.  

Terry Dale Huey was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Huey was fined $50 and court costs.  

Keith Michael Lusk was convicted of two counts felony probation violation. Lusk’s probation was terminated.  

Gregory Scott Poteat was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Poteat was sentenced to five days in jail with credit and court costs.  

Kenny Ray Self was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Self was fined $95 and court costs.  

Sayer Anthony Tamiso was convicted of attempted possession of firearm by a felon, flee/elude arrest with a motor vehicle and possession of methamphetamine. Tamiso was sentenced to 6-17 months in prison.  

Christopher L. Wilkins was convicted of misdemeanor probation violation out of county. Wilkins was sentenced to 20 days in jail with 23 days credit.  

Ryan Whitney Williams was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Williams was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.
