COLUMBUS – Louise Kuykendall Morgan, 88, of Columbus, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday evening, March 3, 2019 at the Elizabeth House.
A native of Polk County, she was the daughter of the late Norman Austin Kuykendall, Sr. and Ila Stacey Kuykendall and wife of the late John D. Morgan, Jr. Mrs. Morgan retired from Hatch Plant in 1995 and was a charter member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Larry Phillip Morgan; one sister, Patricia Burnett.
Surviving is one son, Michael Morgan (Vicky) of Zirconia; one daughter, Lynn M. Bradshaw of Columbus; five grandchildren, M.S. Morgan, Nicholas Morgan, Morgan Bradshaw, Jeremy Bradshaw and Stefanie Glahn; six great-grandchildren, Kayla, Catherine, Taylor, Abby, Ava and Deklan; one brother, Austin Kuykendall (Peggy) of Columbus.
A funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 9, 2019 in the McFarland Funeral Chapel with Rev. John Williams and Rev. Jerry Pierce officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral chapel.
Private burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
