Area Churches recently joined forces and collected 1,460 pounds of food, to help stock the shelves of the Thermal Belt Outreach Ministries. The Annual Food Drive is sponsored by the Unity in the Community Organization. Board Members delivered the food items. When they arrived they were greeted by the TBOM of Directors, who joined in with the unloading of the food, with lots of laughs and fun.

The following churches are responsible for making the food drive such a success: New Zion C.M.E. Church, Moores Grove Baptist, Stoney Knoll C.M.E. Church, Garrison Chapel Baptist Church, Green Creek Missionary Baptist Church, Union Grove Baptist Church, Full Proof Ministries and Zion Grove A.M.E. Zion Church. The UITC extends a warm thank for to all participants.
