Eighth grade students at Polk County Middle School take part in College Day
Polk County Middle School celebrated College and Career Week on Feb. 18-22 with a number of activities as well as a college door-decorating contest.
Throughout the week students heard special announcements from peer helpers, some classes had special projects and all homerooms were challenged with the door-decorating contest.
Students and staff worked hard to complete doors by the end of the week and awards were given to Rowann Hoy’s homeroom for Most Creative, Jennifer Taylor’s class for Most School Spirit and Dr. Richard McCormick’s homeroom received Best Overall.
