Kudos to Bill Crowell for wanting to provide public access to Lake Lanier for Tryon residents.  

Until just a few month ago, I lived 32 years at Lake Lanier. It is a wonderful place to spend a relaxing few hours on the water. This will be an uphill climb for the Tryon Town Council as the Lake Lanier Association will try to keep access limited.

Keep in mind the Tryon residents pay taxes to keep the lake in good order and should be able to reap the benefits of the money they provide so a limited few can enjoy. I support you, albeit from a distance now. Delighted you are doing something to benefit your constituents.
