Polk County FFA students celebrating National FFA Week

Polk County High School FFA kicked off its recognition of National FFA Week on Monday, celebrating and educating students about agriculture and the FFA.
The PCHS FFA chapter has a number of events planned throughout the week. Those include:
Monday – American Day, as it’s President’s Day (no hats; wear red, white and blue)
Tuesday – Camo Day
Thursday – FFA Apparel Day & Hat Day (students should wear FFA T-shirts, hoodies and/or pullovers and for students to wear a hat they will need to pay $1 to get an FFA sticker to be able to wear their hats). FFA officers will be stationed at the double doors down by the gym for students to buy their stickers on Thursday morning.
Friday – Dress like a Farmer or a Farm Animal Day and Teacher Appreciation Day (the FFA will provide breakfast for teachers this morning)
The chapter will also hold Ag Olympic Events each day during SMART Period for FFA members. The schedule for that is:
Monday- Seed Spitting Contest, Cornhole and Ping Pong
Tuesday- 3 Legged Race, Cornhole and Ping Pon
Thursday- Egg Toss Competition, Cornhole and Ping Ping
Friday- Lassoing Contest, Cornhole, and Ping Pong
