BRING AN ITEM TO SHOW AND TELL! The Historic Saluda Committee is pleased to announce the first program for 2019 in the Step Back in History program series, which features programs pertaining to Saluda’s rich history and historic preservation. This program will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in the upstairs meeting room of the Saluda Public Library. Back by popular demand, this program is a time to show and tell.  The committee is asking people to bring in an interesting item that represents Saluda’s history and then be prepared to tell what is known about it. Ideas of things to bring are documents, pictures, family heirlooms or any artifact to be shared with the group. This is a free and interactive program. No item to share? No worries! The committee welcomes all to come and have fun while learning about Saluda’s history. All ages are welcome and refreshments will be served. Additional programs will be offered throughout 2019.

The Historic Saluda Committee (HSC) is an official committee under the jurisdiction of the City of Saluda. A seven member panel is appointed by the Saluda Board of Commissioners and the HSC Chair may appoint additional members. For more information about the Historic Saluda Committee go to www.historicsaluda.org or contact us at historicsaluda@gmail.com.
