Flat Rock handed Polk County Middle a 70-34 setback Thursday in Blue Ridge Athletic Conference wrestling action at Polk.
The Eagles improved to 9-2 with the win, while the Wolverines fell to 1-9.
The loss represented, though, the continued improvement of the squad, as Polk lost 90-18 earlier this season to Flat Rock.
The Wolverines dominated the upper weights, losing just two of seven matches, both by forfeit, from 154 pounds and above.
Polk County Middle will travel Monday to Brevard Middle in its final road match of the regular season.
