Charles Wilson Doty, 75, of Columbus, North Carolina, passed away Jan. 7, 2019.  

He was the son of the late Troy Wilson and Dimple Beatrice Price Doty and husband of Reba Jackson Holbert Doty.

He retired from the U.S. Army as a master sergeant and served during the Vietnam and Korean wars.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Philip E. Holbert; a daughter, Kim Honeycutt (Hank); two brothers, Cully (Renee) and Marty Doty; two grandchildren, Jonathan Holbert (Sydney) and Andrew Holbert; and great-grandchildren, Holden and Lillian Holbert.  

He was predeceased by a brother, John Henry Doty; and two sisters, Lois Jean Adams and Travis Ann Sherbert.

Funeral services will be held in Cleveland, Alabama.
