Former Polk County girls tennis standout Hannah Jenne has been named to the All-Western North Carolina girls tennis squad by the Asheville Citizen-Times.

Jenne finished the season with a 25-4 record and won the 1A West Regional tournament. She reached the 1A state semifinals.

Jenne also won the Western Highlands Conference singles title and was named the conference player of the year.

Polk County sophomore Julia Griffin earned All-WNC honorable mention.
