Columbus Police Report – Nov. 2018

During the month of November, the Columbus Police Department answered 435 calls for service.

There were 18 arrests, including two felony arrests, 11 misdemeanor arrests, three driving while impaired and two fugitives arrested.

There were a total of 157 charges, including 44 speeding citations, three no operator’s license, five driving while license revoked, four drug charges, four uninsured motorists, six careless and reckless driving, 28 registration violations, and five open containers.

Officers completed 9,556 premise checks, including 65 residence checks, 9,118 business checks and 373 church checks; completed 558 community patrols and were called to assist other agencies 22 times.
