Polk County District Court Results – Dec. 12, 2018

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2018, with Judge Mack Brittain presiding, 61 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following were convicted of a crime:

Janice Anders Connor was convicted of resisting public officer. Connor was sentenced to one-year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.

Lauren E. Hackelberg was convicted of two counts of misdemeanor probation violation out of county. Hackelberg’s probation was terminated unsuccessfully.

Molique Lamont Kennedy was convicted of carrying a concealed weapon and resisting public officer. Kennedy was sentenced to19 days in jail with credit for time served.

Robert Eugene Pelz was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce and possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Pelz was fined $50 and court costs.
