The Do Not Lose Hope movement, with contributions from Polk Fit, Fresh and Friendly, the town of Tryon, Landrum Fire Department, and volunteers, provided more than 200 people with free food during Tryon’s Christmas parade Wednesday night. There were also 86 T-shirts and 50 paintings by local artist Martin given away that evening. This was the second year for the free event, which was held this year in the Shops of Tryon parking lot.
