Tryon Fine Arts Center representative shares proposed additions to center with Kiwanians

Tim Brannon, representing the Tryon Fine Arts Center, was the guest speaker at Kiwanis on Wednesday, Dec. 5.  He spoke of the history of the center, beginning with the bequest by Violet Parish-Watson, its first opening in February 1969 and the recent improvements. He also spoke of the proposed addition in the back of the building and improvements in handicapped accessibility, including the addition of an elevator.
