Orion and the Melted Crayons will bring their Christmas 2018 tour to Saluda Outfitters. This is the new trio of former Saluda resident and Charlottesville, Virginia, native Orion Faruque. Orion’s songwriting centers around “hope being our umbrella from the world and sharing happiness through art.” Joining him will be multi-instrumentalists Ryan Blanton on mandolin, guitar and vocals, and Elie Bashkow on violin and vocals.

Perry Major

5-8 p.m.

Saturday, Dec. 22

Perry Major, a Charlotte resident and Saluda part-timer, is a singer/songwriter inspired by greats such as James Taylor and friend Edwin McCain. The Greenville native will bring his acoustic soul to the Saluda venue and will be joined by a fiddle player Ben Schowe to create a duo for the evening.

Michael Cash

5-8 p.m.

Saturday, Dec. 29

Michael Cash, of Spartanburg earns his living as a singer/songwriter/guitarist. Specializing in music from the ‘50s, ‘60s and ‘70s, Cash gets the house rocking with a selection of music that makes audiences jump to the dance floor, representatives said.

Saluda Outfitters/Green River Eddy’s Tap Room is located at 435 Main St., Saluda. The Big Hungry Food Truck is open from noon to 9 p.m. on weekends. Those interested in learning more may call 828-848-4060.
