After being postponed for weather last Saturday, downtown Columbus was lined with residents Thursday for the annual Christmas parade and Home Town Christmas. The Columbus Fire Department hosted the events with help from several other organizations. This was the first year the town did the parade at night. The Home Town Christmas included Santa and free hot chocolate for children on a cold night. (Photos by Leah Justice/Tryon Daily Bulletin)
