A discussion of a hidden part of art history will continue at Tryon Fine Arts Center at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.

TFAC’s Art in Education program will offer a free screening of the BBC documentary “The Story of Women and Art.” The documentary, led by Professor Amanda Vickery, explores the struggles and accomplishments of female artists throughout history and examines the explosion of creative opportunities as the 20th century dawned.

A group discussion will follow the screening.  

There is no cost to attend the event, though space is limited. Reservations may be made at tryonarts.org or by calling TFAC’s Box Office at 828-859-8322.
