Polk County District Court Results – Nov. 21, 2018

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2018, with Judge Robert Brady presiding, 135 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following were convicted of a crime:

Horace Aniton was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Aniton was fined $40 and court costs.

Charlene Damato was convicted of two counts of second-degree trespassing. Damato was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for time served.

John Wayne Franklin was convicted of failure to appear on misdemeanor. Franklin was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for time served.

Edwin Holt Gilbert was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Gilbert was fined $40 and court costs.

Jonathan M. Hendricks was convicted of level-four driving while impaired. Hendricks was sentenced to one-year unsupervised probation, 48 hours of community service, a $400 fine and court costs.

Jason Michael Jackson was convicted of failure to appear and driving while license revoked-impaired revocation. Jackson was sentenced to one-year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.

James Lee Parrot was convicted of level-five driving while impaired. Parrot was sentenced to one-year unsupervised probation, a $200 fine and court costs.

Sarita Shana Woods was convicted of failure to notify DMV. Woods was fined $20 and court costs.
