Polk Fit, Fresh and Friendly and Foothills Health Network will host the final Cost of Poverty Experience Simulation of 2018 on Monday.

The simulation will be held at Tryon Seventh Day Adventist Church from 4-6 p.m.

The Cost of Poverty Experience is a training offering participants a glimpse into the lives of low-income individuals and families living in the local community. It is an experiential opportunity to better understand the obstacles faced, the decisions made and the consequences that impact these families every day, organizers said.
