Thermal Belt Ministerial Association to host Community Thanksgiving Service Nov. 18

The Thermal Belt Ministerial Association invites the public to the annual Community Thanksgiving Service, which will be held this year at the Tryon Presbyterian Church, 430 Harmon Field Road, Tryon.

The service will be at 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18. This year, the Rev. Lynnette Sills, pastor of the United Methodist Church, will bring the message.

Clergy from the Tryon Presbyterian Church, the Congregational Church UCC, Holy Cross Episcopal Church, First Baptist Church of Tryon and the Landrum Presbyterian Church will participate in the service. A community choir is planned, and all choir members from local churches are invited to participate.

A choir rehearsal will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov.18, at the Tryon Presbyterian Church. Choir members are asked to bring their robes.

The evening offering will be given to the Thermal Belt Outreach. All are welcome to attened.
