Just one little call will do

There are so many nice and helpful business people in this area, but sometimes they don’t think it’s important to a return a call.
A few weeks ago, I contacted a company about a certain item and talked to a nice lady on the phone. I told her what we were looking for and she said that she would check on it and call me back the next day.
She didn’t call the next day. The day after that I called back and got a voicemail and I left a detailed message, and I was never given the courtesy of a return call letting me know if they did or did not have this item.
We have such a nice small community that it is a good business practice to let a potential customer know “yes” or “no.” One little phone call will do it.
