FMC 2018 scholarship winners to give public performance Thursday

The Foothills Music Club will present six of its 2018 scholarship winners in a public concert at 3 p.m. on Thursday at the Tryon Presbyterian Church. 

The public is invited to attend the event, which is also a celebration of the club’s 30 year.  Admission is free, but tax-deductible donations to the FMC Young Musicians Scholarship Program will be accepted.

Student performers will include Ivana Carlson, violinist; Amanda Dimond, vocalist; Lillie Bell, violinist; Cash McFarlane, pianist; Jacob Grigg, trombonist; and Maggie Collins, vocalist.

The public is invited to join the Foothills Music Club to hear the young musicians and to celebrate the club’s 30th anniversary.
